Tips to Tame Frizz
Wild and crazy gal...but not her hair! Blogger AngleMarie gives us her advice on frizzy hair: It's fun to be the wild girl...and the fun girl. It's unpleasant to be the wild-haired girl with the unruly locks! Our hair is definitely an indicator of our personality, so how we wear our hair and what it looks like, speaks volumes to others around us. So if our hair is guiding the conversation...what exactly are we saying? If you are one of many people who, like me, struggle with frizzy hair that has the potential to be curly but behaves unruly...you may be searching for some tips, tricks and advice! There are many discussions out there... people are looking for better products that really deliver results. Here are some common mistakes made to tame frizz. When these backfire, the result is..Uh oh...WORSE FRIZZ!
- Gooping up your hair with mousse, gel or hairspray to control its shape. The reason this fails us is that it does not make sense to believe and use all this natural hair care and then panic and goop it up or slick it back when styling. My favorite product from MM is the Diamond Crystal Mist or Sapphire Mist (volumizing, moisturizing spray). It is remarkably multi-beneficial! You can restore your curls and tame them rather than deal with the frizz and fly aways!
- Stopping washing your hair to avoid drying it out. Let's face it, this just doesn't help! Yes, going a day or two between washes is fine, but a week? Your hair will just become oily from your own secretions and styling will be more difficult than ever!
- Stopping conditioning..or over-conditioning. We need a balanced conditioning regimen, no matter what type of hair we are working with. The salad dressing people had it right: use oil or use vinegar, just NOT at the same time! Our Euro Oil is perfect for a weekly deep conditioning that will lessen frizz and create manageability. For regular conditioning, I recommend Apple Cider Vinegar!
- Not brushing your hair. Hair needs the brushing. Our scalps need the stimulation too. This is a very important part of the process. Encourage healthy hair growth and increase blood flow to your scalp by brushing daily.

A Hawaii Thanksgiving
This past November I spent my Thanksgiving visiting the beautiful islands of Maui and Kauai. I always find it incredibly relaxing to escape the holiday craziness and retreat to a place of unrivaled natural beauty. Observing and appreciating nature can be difficult in other places, where there is so much to distract you in your daily life. In Hawaii, one is constantly being bombarded with natural wonders that you can't help but marvel at. I was also able to get together with some of my dear friends who live on the islands, and we had a blast! We enjoyed hikes through the bamboo forests, visiting the Haleakala Crater (if you are ever in Maui, you MUST see this), eating fresh fish and produce every day, going to local farmers' markets, and simply soaking up the sun and relaxing in the warm waters of the west Pacific. This opportunity to leave my daily worries behind greatly helped me to reflect on how much I have to be thankful for: very appropriate for the Thanksgiving holiday! It was just what I needed to prepare for this busy and often demanding time of year, and helped bring new perspective and awareness to my life and life decisions! Morrocco Method LOVES your pets!
Guest blogger Debbie gets creative with MM products: I recently gave my friends who have pets the boar bristle brush to groom them. One has a beautiful gray cat – with a medium length coat – he normally does not like to be brushed so much; but he will shed in the winter as he spends more time indoors. After the first use with the blonde bristle brush he was purring happily – and now will lie contentedly as he is brushed. My other friend has a gorgeous flat coat retriever (black). He is very feisty and isn't one to sit still easily for his grooming. Again the bristles are so gentle, yet effective that he relaxes very easily once we started to brush him. As it is very dry in the winter – we also added a couple of drops of the Euro Oil to the brush before we groomed him. This added a lovely sheen to his coat and helped with his skin as well. I swear both pets hold their heads up higher and are happier as a result!!

My hair looks like someone professional styled it today! No frizz or fly away hair! Very Shiny and Healthy Looking is how my hair looks. I let it dry naturally and the SHINE is incredible. I have naturally wavy hair that is so dry it's brittle. NOT Today! Love it! Thank so much for your products! Keep up the Great work! Julie Silver: What a wonderful product - most pomades leave your hair feeling heavy and sticky. This one doesn't though and is a fantastic moisturizer for dry areas on the body :-) Rachel Ann: Love it for my boys who love to style their hair....... Safe and fun and starting them young on the natural movement!

MM Eyeliner Tips
We recently had a question regarding our Black Ayurvedic Eyeliner: I just received the eyeliner and it looks like a "crayon" almost so how can you draw a thin line on top and bottom lids and how do you keep the tip sharp? It is hard to imagine how something so big and chunky could be applied easily. Do you use a pencil sharpener to give it a pointy tip? I love Morrocco Method and love all products but I am just a little confused on this one! We recommend using an eyeliner brush to ultimately "dip" into our black eyeliner to apply. Because the eyeliner is so thick it will not stay sharp the entire time you have it, but it is so good for you! By using a thin makeup or eyeliner brush to apply, you can be sure that you get a thin line every time! Check it out and let us know how it works for you!

Henna Testimonial
Hi Anthony, I emailed you over a year ago and was considering henna instead of chemical processed hair coloring. I had never colored my hair and a few grey's was the reason I had contacted you. At first I was persuaded by many not to use henna. They gave me many reasons. My only question to them was- WHEN YOU COLOR YOUR HAIR, DOES YOUR SCALP BURN OR ITCH? The response from everyone was YES! I was very surprised since they had their hair done by weekly or monthly . Why would anyone subject themselves to a burning scalp on a monthly basis? So I knew then and there after several interviews that I was choosing Morrocco Method Henna. I started with the lightest color and gradually increased to the color I desired. That was your best tip. I then would make a organic green tea and refrigerate the mixture until cold. I added the cold green tea to my henna powder w a wooden spoon and added a few drops of MM Oil as a bonus for shiny hair. The cold tea makes the mixture sooooo soothing on my scalp. For highlights I added to the above mixture a few drops of organic freshly squeezed lemon juice. I would use this as streaks to accentuate my face. Using thin strips just as a hair stylist would do in a salon. For regrowth of grays I leave on 2 hours. Should I want the color darker I would repeat same procedure 72 hours later. I am at peace knowing that every time I use MN Henna my scalp n hair are safe from chemicals. My hair is stronger, thicker, shiny and it's the healthiest ever. I use all MM products. The hairstyling products, shampoos and sprays are the best. Just like working out it takes time and patience to see the results. The same with henna. You must be patient and your hair will restore to its natural beauty. Thanks Anthony. Rebeca
